Jay Loves 'excellent' Jags and Brineton
American talkshow host Jay Leno spoke of his admiration for both Jaguar cars and Brineton Engineering during a visit to Birmingham today.
The 61-year-old presenter, who hosted The Tonight Show for almost two decades, was at the Castle Bromwich plant filming promotional material for his website. He said: "It's fantastic to be here at Jaguar. The cars are amongst the best vehicles in the world. I know there is a recession on but when you have a proper product it will always be successful.
"Jaguar is proof the English can build excellent cars."
Last month it was revealed Jay used Walsall-based Brineton Engineering for some car parts. When a gear tooth cracked on his eight litre 1924 Bentley Twin Turbo, he turned to Brineton for spares, which were ex. stock.
The multi-millionaire star even praised them on a video on his website. Jay has been a big friend of Brineton for many years.
Jay owns more than 120 cars, including four Jaguars.
